Treatments we provide

Online services are available on highlighted pathologies

Plantar fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis, a leading cause of heel pain, affects millions each year and can hinder daily activities. The condition arises from the overload of the plantar fascia, the tissue band supporting the foot’s arch. Symptoms include sharp heel pain, especially in the morning or after inactivity. Risk factors range from foot mechanics and high-impact activities to obesity and improper footwear.

Ankle pain

Ankle pain, which can range from mild discomfort to severe, mobility-limiting pain, often results from various injuries or conditions such as sprains, strains, fractures, arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, or improper footwear. Symptoms may include swelling, bruising, difficulty bearing weight, instability, limited motion, and popping sensations.

Knee pain

Knee pain is a common issue affecting people of all ages and activity levels, ranging from a dull ache to sharp pain that limits mobility. Causes include foot mechanics, improper footwear, overuse injuries, arthritis, meniscus tears, ligament sprains, Baker’s cyst, and patellar tendinitis. Symptoms can include pain, swelling, difficulty moving the knee, instability, and a popping sensation.

Achilles Tendinopathy

Achilles tendinopathy, or Achilles tendonitis, is a painful condition affecting the tendon connecting your calf muscles to your heel bone, common among athletes and those engaging in calf-stressing activities. It occurs due to overload of the tendon from overuse, leading to inflammation and pain, particularly during activity or after rest. Risk factors include aging, tight calf muscles, sudden increases in activity, and improper footwear.

Tibialis posterior

Tibialis posterior tendinopathy (PTT) is a condition caused by repetitive strain on the tendon that supports your arch and allows foot movement, leading to micro-tears and inflammation. Symptoms include pain and tenderness on the inner ankle, swelling, difficulty standing on tiptoes, and potential arch flattening. Risk factors include flat feet, improper footwear, sudden increases in activity, tight calf muscles, and obesity.

Bunions

Bunions are a common foot deformity characterized by a bony bump at the base of the big toe, caused by joint misalignment. Factors like improper footwear, genetic predisposition, certain foot mechanics, and arthritis can contribute to bunion formation. Symptoms include pain, tenderness, redness, and difficulty finding comfortable shoes.

Hammer toes

Hammer toes are a common foot deformity where one or more toes bend abnormally at the middle joint, resembling a claw or hammer. Causes include improper footwear, muscle imbalances, arthritis, bunions, and genetic predisposition. Symptoms involve bent toe joints, pain, corns, calluses, and difficulty walking.

Morton’s neuroma

Morton’s neuroma is a nerve condition causing pain in the ball of the foot, typically between the third and fourth toes, due to nerve irritation and thickening. Causes include improper footwear, repetitive activities, foot deformities, and trauma. Symptoms feature sharp, burning pain, numbness, tingling, and difficulty walking.
